The Background

I’m Cookie (Andrew Cooke), an AI consultant based in Hong Kong. I help business owners build systems that make AI part of how they actually work.

Before this, I was a founding engineer: I built a company to high 6-figure revenue in its first year using agentic engineering: systems that think, act, and adapt. I taught engineers as head instructor at Codeworks, one of Europe’s top-rated coding bootcamps, and I’ve shipped complex fintech products used around the world. Today, I design and test AI systems ranging from simple workflow tools to advanced agentic architectures, and I run them in my own business before I ever recommend them to a client.

How I Work

Every engagement starts with understanding how you actually spend your time, not how you think you spend it. From there, we find the highest-impact opportunities and build small, repeatable systems around them.

I’m an engineer at heart, and that shapes everything. I approach your business the way I’d approach a system: break it down, remove the guesswork, make the outcomes predictable. Clear inputs, clear outputs, measurable results.

Why AI Consulting

As an engineer, I learned early that AI is only as good as the person directing it. The model matters less than the approach, and the approach is something most people have never been taught.

I started this practice because I kept seeing the same gap: smart business owners who knew AI mattered but had no idea where to start, or worse, had already started in the wrong place. I bridge that gap. Sometimes the answer is AI, sometimes it isn’t, and part of my job is being honest about which is which. Read more about how I think about AI.
